Photography hasn't always been a passion of mine. The seed was planted by my mom who always wanted to take pictures of even the simple memories growing up. It was something I did not truly appreciate until I moved after graduating high school. Living away from home, photography has become a medium which allows me to keep my family updated and involved in my life. I got into the habit of taking pictures with my friends on our adventures, though they would sometimes tease me for being the ‘mom’ of the group (a title I proudly embrace).
Coming to the end of my college career now, I could not be more grateful for all of the pictures I’ve taken over the years holding amazing memories with some of my favorite times and people. From this, I have come to truly appreciate the art. For me, photography goes beyond just a picture. It’s a beautiful way to capture one's memories in the middle of the craziness of our lives and tell stories beyond just the pixels.
Up until a few months ago, I finally saved enough money to dive in and buy my first ‘real’ camera (Lumix G7). I’ve been able to hone in on my skills and am having a blast doing so. I am so grateful for the support I have received so far, and have met a great community of others who share the same passion.

This is for God, who has always blessed me even before I knew Him.
This is for my family, who has shown me nothing but love and support.
This is for my friends, who have been my rock during my toughest times.
This is for anyone who has doubts about following their passion, do it and dive in!

I hope to share the beauty of this world one photo at a time though this website.

Much Love,
KevDog
